Construction Director - Hotels

About the role

The Construction Director will lead all construction management activities for hotel projects within the Diriyah development. Reporting to the Program Director, you will coordinate multiple contractors, supervision consultants, and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time, and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the construction delivery process across various contractors and supervision teams.
• Lead all construction activities on assigned plots/assets, ensuring compliance with Diriyah’s standards and milestone targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Diriyah Company regarding construction progress.
• Ensure adherence to the Programme Management Plan, quality, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define scopes, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Direct and coordinate Senior Construction Managers, Construction Managers, and logistics teams.
• Approve project execution plans, construction methodologies, and contractor phasing strategies.
• Review monthly progress, cost, and risk reports, identifying issues early.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in construction management for large‑scale hotel or mixed‑use projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contractors.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, HSE practices, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
