Consultant Endocrinologist

About the role

The Consultant Endocrinologist will deliver comprehensive, high‑quality care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. Working within Saudi German Health, the physician will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions while upholding clinical standards and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Manage outpatient endocrinology clinics and provide specialist consultations.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and supervise diagnostic/therapeutic procedures within clinical privileges.
• Participate in inpatient care, including admissions, rounds, and discharge planning.
• Ensure accurate, timely medical documentation and review junior staff records.
• Mentor physicians, residents, interns, and other healthcare team members.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, research, education, and community health initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
• Postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology.
• Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent specialty credential.
