Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist

About the role

The Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist provides comprehensive care for children with respiratory disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Riyadh Care Hospital. The role requires adherence to professional medical ethics, CBHAI/JCIA standards, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations while delivering high‑quality, compassionate treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient pulmonary clinics and inpatient consultations for pediatric patients.
• Perform bronchoscopies, pleural biopsies, and pulmonary function tests.
• Supervise respiratory therapy staff and ensure multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies related to pulmonary care.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records respecting patient confidentiality.
• Lead junior staff and drive performance‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical licensure and clinical privileges to practice pediatric pulmonology in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a hospital team and adhere to local regulations.
