Content & Communications Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Content & Communications Specialist to own the messaging that our merchants read across multiple channels, including WhatsApp, Crisp, in‑app notifications, email, support macros and website copy. The role requires excellent Modern Standard Arabic writing skills and a data‑driven mindset to decide channel placement, sequencing and frequency of messages.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end merchant lifecycle messaging inventory across WhatsApp, Crisp, in‑app notifications and email, ensuring consistent governance.
• Determine the optimal channel for each message and establish rules in collaboration with product and support teams.
• Write brand and product copy, including financing product descriptions and sales talking points.
• Build and maintain an Arabic terminology list and an editorial style guide with tone tiers for each channel.
• Produce the customer support guidebook and macro library, and train the support team on its use.
• Create Arabic website content for Autobia and Qasima Plus.
• Partner with growth marketing to baseline message performance and measure the impact of changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Literature, Marketing or a related field.
• 4–7 years of professional Arabic writing experience, using Modern Standard Arabic as the primary register.
• Proven track record of owning a messaging system end‑to‑end (customer lifecycle, support or product content).
• Strong editorial discipline, including style‑guide creation, terminology management and consistency at scale.
• Ability to interpret support and engagement data and adjust content strategy accordingly.
• Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency for internal tools and stakeholders.
