Cost Engineer (Saudi National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer who is a Saudi national to join its Airport/Infrastructure/Airfield project team. You will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting project costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with the approved budget and baseline.

Key responsibilities

• Track and control project costs against the approved budget, including commitments, accruals, and forecasts.
• Prepare and distribute regular cost reports for project and senior management.
• Maintain the Project Cost Breakdown Structure and monitor costs by package, discipline, and workstream.
• Assess cost impacts of design changes, client instructions, and variations, providing early warnings of potential overruns.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Contracts, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and client teams to ensure accurate cost visibility.
• Support monthly cost forecasting and reconciliation with finance records.

Required profile

• Saudi national with at least 60 months (5 years) of relevant cost engineering experience.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
