Costing Manager

About the role

The Costing Manager will lead costing and profitability analysis across Fakeeh Care Group’s hospitals and service lines. You will ensure accurate cost allocation, develop profitability reports, and support strategic pricing and cost‑optimization decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update activity‑based costing (ABC) and patient‑level cost models in line with group methodology.
• Cost services, packages and medical procedures, allocating direct and indirect costs accurately.
• Analyse cost trends across hospitals, specialties and departments, highlighting improvement opportunities.
• Prepare cost‑vs‑reimbursement analyses, comparing actual costs with insurance tariffs and self‑pay rates.
• Conduct profitability analysis by consultant, specialty, payer and facility to guide pricing and performance decisions.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Operations and Clinical teams to validate data used in profitability reporting.
• Produce periodic profitability dashboards and reports for finance and hospital management.
• Identify, track and report on cost‑optimization initiatives and financial improvement targets.
• Support financial feasibility studies, scenario and sensitivity analyses for new services or investments.
• Assist in integrating costing tools within ERP (Oracle/SAP) and BI platforms (Power BI, Hyperion) and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies, IFRS, SOCPA and CMA/Tadawul requirements and support internal/external audits.
