Customer Implementation Specialist – Logistics

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Customer Implementation Specialist to manage and optimise logistics operations for key clients in Jeddah. The role involves executing customer operation plans, handling orders, supporting the sales team and ensuring a smooth flow of goods across the global supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Execute customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics.
• Manage and update orders received via the system, including special and non‑assigned orders.
• Ensure flow of goods and information across the customer's global supply chain and resolve order/delivery issues.
• Support the sales team with quotations, exception deal management, account overviews, billing corrections, and related requests.
• Deliver cartage tours, monitor profitability, service quality and timelines.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, conduct visits and understand requirements.
• Track capacity utilisation and optimise according to set objectives.
• Report operational issues to management and keep systems updated with product shortages, delivery dates, and price changes.
• Draft reports on customer inquiries, sales trends, complaints and evaluate operational performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in logistics, freight or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end customer processes in a multimodal environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience preparing operational reports.
• Ability to work closely with sales and cross‑functional logistics teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic preferred).
