Customs Broker - Saudization

About the role

The Customs Broker will manage customs clearance for finished vehicles, spare parts and related shipments, ensuring compliance with Saudi Customs regulations and local authority requirements. The role requires close coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders and transporters to achieve timely clearance and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Clear incoming and outgoing air and sea freight shipments according to schedules and terms.
• Perform VCC corrections by liaising with customs authorities, raising tickets and resolving time‑critical issues.
• Verify original shipping documents, classify HS codes correctly and calculate duties/taxes for Bayan processing.
• Register jobs, update details in EDI Cargo Wise, manage invoicing and electronic document handling.
• Handle additional customer jobs during peak periods or staff absences as directed by the Team Leader or Operations Manager.
• Prepare and submit daily reporting dashboards and other requested reports in the specified format.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in customs brokerage within a similar industry.
• Valid Saudi Customs Broker License or accreditation from ZATCA.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations, GCC tariff codes and HS‑code classification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using SAP or other ERP/logistics systems.
• Familiarity with EDI Cargo Wise for job registration and document management.
