Customs & Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an expert‑level Customs & Logistics Specialist to lead our overseas operations in Saudi Arabia. You will build the local customs framework, optimise logistics strategies and ensure seamless end‑to‑end supply‑chain execution for both Complete Built‑Up (CBU) vehicles and Knock‑Down (KD) parts.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement an overseas customs system aligned with corporate logistics strategy.
• Research local customs policies, interpret regulations and resolve complex clearance challenges.
• Coordinate HS‑code classification and tax determination for CBU and KD products.
• Analyse tariffs and market‑access policies to design cost‑effective clearance plans.
• Lead customs projects, monitor progress and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop a customs risk‑control system to proactively identify policy risks.
• Oversee overseas warehouse management, applying FIFO principles and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Design local transportation plans, negotiate with logistics suppliers and monitor service delivery.
• Integrate local logistics resources with external providers to guarantee stable links.
• Establish and track logistics KPIs, continuously improving timeliness, safety and cost efficiency.
• Act as primary liaison with domestic headquarters, synchronising data and handling exceptions.
• Execute full customs clearance processes, including documentation, declaration, inspection and tax payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, English or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is a strong plus.
• Extensive experience in cross‑border automotive logistics, especially CBU export and overseas import clearance.
