Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

The Cyber Security Consultant will protect our information systems, networks, and data by assessing risks, designing security controls, and advising stakeholders on best practices. You will work on diverse projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, security reviews, and gap analyses across infrastructure, applications, and operational environments.
• Design and recommend security architectures, controls, and frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and other standards.
• Support implementation and optimisation of firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools.
• Perform configuration reviews, compliance checks, and technical validations.
• Identify security risks, evaluate impact and likelihood, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Assist incident response activities, including investigation, containment guidance, and post‑incident reviews.
• Advise stakeholders on secure system design, change management, and security best practices.
• Prepare and present security reports, risk registers, and executive summaries for management and clients.
• Support compliance and audit activities by providing evidence, documentation, and technical explanations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
