Demand Forecast Analyst

About the role

Responsible for preparing demand forecasts for the poultry business, continuously improving accuracy by analysing historical sales patterns, trends, seasonality, marketing plans, economic, weather, regulatory and competitive factors, using the PROCAST forecasting software. The role also involves maintaining the IBP system, ensuring data cleanliness and integrating regional events into forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the IBP system with clean, up‑to‑date data; reconcile all SKUs weekly by depot and ensure new SKUs and hierarchy changes are reflected immediately.
• Accurately capture future and past events in the IBP system.
• Update rolling 18‑month forecasts on a weekly‑monthly basis by week, depot and SKU.
• Incorporate regional and local events into forecasts through bottom‑up forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in planning, forecasting or purchasing, preferably in a chilled FMCG multi‑SKU environment.
• Hands‑on experience with forecasting tools such as IBP or SAP.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
