About the role
The Ritz-Carlton in Jeddah is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its Food & Beverage team. You will work in a high‑end hotel kitchen, preparing special meals, ensuring consistent quality, and supporting the culinary team during busy service periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Thaw frozen items in refrigeration, maintain food logs, and monitor portion sizes, arrangement, and garnish.
- Communicate assistance needs, inform the Chef of excess inventory, and update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching as needed.
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
- At least 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- No supervisory experience required.
