Digital Quality Engineer (Software Tester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Quality Engineer to join our team in Makkah. You will design, build, and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality and performance of our digital systems, while supporting continuous integration and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and implementation plans.
• Create functional, technical, and traceability test cases.
• Program, develop, and maintain automation scripts for front‑end and back‑end components.
• Execute functional, API, and performance tests.
• Manage testing activities within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Analyze test results, produce technical reports, and log defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Assurance.
• Professional certification in automated testing (e.g., ISTQB CTAL) is a plus.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C (at least one).
• Automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• API testing tools: Rest Assured, Postman.
• Version control: Git.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Database querying: SQL.
