E-Commerce Director

About the role

The E‑Commerce Director will lead the strategy, development and performance of our fashion retail e‑commerce platform, driving digital revenue growth and enhancing the online customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute e‑commerce strategies aligned with business goals, defining KPIs and growth opportunities.
• Oversee website performance, usability, mobile responsiveness, SEO optimisation and technical issue resolution.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimise product listings, merchandising and promotional activities.
• Improve the end‑to‑end online customer journey, including live chat, FAQs and returns processes.
• Lead digital marketing initiatives (SEO, PPC, social media, email) and produce regular performance reports.
• Coordinate e‑commerce operations with inventory systems to maintain optimal stock levels and efficient order fulfilment.
• Manage and develop the e‑commerce team, control the budget and build relationships with vendors and technology partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of experience with a strong background in e‑commerce leadership.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, online retail and platform management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and strategic thinking abilities.
