Electrical Engineering Instructor – Vocational Training

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Instructor to join our vocational institute’s Engineering Teaching Delivery team. The role involves delivering the Mechanical Vocational Engineering Program, assessing trainees, and preparing them for industry‑ready careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned instruction and develop personalized lesson plans for diploma pathways.
• Maintain and update teaching resources to match workshop equipment and industry standards.
• Supervise trainees, monitor their progress, and enforce the Trainee Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams, Quality Coordinators, and Management to ensure comprehensive curriculum delivery.
• Participate in “Train the Trainer” CPD programs and contribute to the development of teaching materials.
• Provide diverse training resources that support practical learning and accommodate various learning styles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (master’s or PhD a plus).
• Minimum 7 years of experience teaching engineering in a hands‑on vocational environment.
• Proven ability to teach adults and younger learners with diverse abilities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering maintenance and practical‑focused course delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for evolving teaching practices.
