Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to carry out routine repair, corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical process equipment and systems at our petrochemical facilities in Al‑Jubail. The role works under supervision, follows strict safety and environmental procedures, and supports plant reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine correct work procedures.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical process equipment and systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation and rectification to restore equipment availability.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and turnaround maintenance of new or modified equipment.
• Apply required work permits, risk control measures and safety procedures for all tasks.
• Document work performed in test forms and condition reports.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, maintain good housekeeping and comply with EHS policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong safety mindset; ability to identify and mitigate at‑risk behaviors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders.
• Willingness to work under supervision and follow standard operating procedures.
