Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician will join CSI Global‑Fleet’s project teams in Makkah to support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems across a range of infrastructure and building projects. The role works closely with electrical engineers and commissioning managers to ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and routine maintenance in line with project documents.
• Assist engineers during testing and commissioning of LV systems, distribution boards, MCCs, transformers, cables, lighting and power equipment.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth resistance and other electrical tests using appropriate test equipment.
• Read and interpret single‑line diagrams, wiring schematics and equipment specifications.
• Execute cable termination, glanding, dressing, labeling and connection activities.
• Identify and report defects, non‑conformities and troubleshoot faults to determine root causes.
• Document test results, inspection findings and verify installations against approved drawings.

Required profile

• Minimum two years (24 months) of hands‑on experience in electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Full‑time availability and ability to work on‑site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and safety procedures.
