Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Makkah office. The role supports the Resident Engineer in delivering large‑scale urban master‑plan projects, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and compliance with Saudi standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements for civil and electrical works.
• Conduct site inspections and quality verifications across high‑rise and complex infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design specifications, contract requirements and local regulations are met.
• Monitor project schedules, safety performance and documentation throughout all phases of development.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in construction, preferably high‑rise and urban development projects.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage complex technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of Saudi construction standards and HSE requirements.
