Electrical Tendering Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Tendering Engineer to support planning, design, estimation and execution of electrical works on infrastructure and construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems and hands‑on experience with CCS Candy for cost estimation and project control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings and technical specifications.
• Use CCS Candy to develop cost estimates, BOQs, bid pricing and project budgets.
• Review and verify material submittals, shop drawings and method statements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure correct installation.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing schedules, procurement plans and work programmes for the electrical scope.
• Identify design conflicts, technical issues and risks, proposing engineering solutions.
• Support tendering activities, including quantity take‑offs, pricing and technical assessments.
• Ensure testing, commissioning and handover of all electrical systems.
• Maintain project documentation, reports and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory experience with CCS Candy for estimation and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, load calculations, lighting, power distribution and low‑current systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
