Emergency Medical Specialist

About the role

The Emergency Medical Specialist provides professional, timely emergency care to patients in Riyadh and Jeddah, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions.
• Provide immediate emergency interventions based on clinical protocols.
• Perform patient assessment, monitoring, stabilization and ongoing reassessment.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Assist with emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, ambulance teams and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or related field.
• Valid classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Previous experience in emergency medical services or a related clinical setting.

• Performance of emergency medical procedures and patient stabilization.
• Administration of emergency medications and treatments.
