ER Physician – Riyadh

About the role

The Emergency Room (ER) Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients presenting to the ER in Riyadh. This role involves rapid assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of follow‑up care in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, document findings and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on their condition, required investigations, treatment options and medication use.
• Order, review and interpret diagnostic investigations.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and perform procedures within clinical privileges.
• Provide vaccination services when applicable.
• Refer cases to appropriate clinic specialties.
• Maintain accurate medical records using office and health information systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from a recognized university.
• Valid SCHS medical license.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience after graduation, preferably in occupational health.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Office and Health Information Systems.
