Experienced EV Charger Installation Technician

About the role

Climatech Charger is seeking an experienced EV Charger Installation Technician to support its expanding portfolio of electric‑vehicle charging projects across Saudi Arabia. You will work on commercial, residential, fleet and public sites, handling everything from site assessment to commissioning and after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to verify installation feasibility, cable routes, MDB/DB conditions, earthing points and civil requirements.
• Collect site measurements, photos and electrical panel details to assist engineering surveys.
• Install AC and DC EV chargers according to approved drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Perform cable pulling, dressing, gland installation, labeling and power‑cable termination.
• Read and follow single‑line diagrams, electrical layouts, BOQs and charger manuals.
• Supervise installation teams or subcontractors during execution.
• Execute testing and commissioning activities, including continuity, insulation resistance and functional tests.
• Configure chargers (network connection, load settings, RFID/payment, backend integration).
• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective services, and prepare hand‑over documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, design teams, suppliers and after‑sales support to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power or a related field.
• Valid Iqama in Saudi Arabia.
• 3–5 years of experience in low‑voltage electrical installation, power distribution or infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience installing both AC and DC EV chargers.
