Field Engineer – Tamheer Program

About the role

The Tamheer Program seeks a motivated Field Engineer to deliver on‑site maintenance, repair and refurbishment services for customer equipment. You will work directly at client sites, ensuring that all service activities meet safety, quality and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and remedial maintenance on installed fleets, including inspections, life‑extension work and repairs.
• Execute on‑site machining, non‑destructive testing (NDT), blading, winding, critical welding and generator diagnostics.
• Support construction, commissioning and upgrades of new and existing equipment.
• Document work performed, follow prescribed work instructions and report any deviations to supervisors.
• Collaborate with customers to build strong relationships and act as the technical interface between the client and the service organization.

Required profile

• Degree‑level engineering education or equivalent technical experience.
• Basic experience in services and field operations, preferably in industrial or power‑generation environments.
• Ability to follow step‑by‑step operational procedures and make engineering decisions within defined parameters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
