Field Service Engineer

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join its Field Service Operations team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will provide on‑site installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of high‑speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers for customers across key process industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, fault finding, repair and preventive maintenance of HSS, decanters and plate heat exchangers.
• Troubleshoot and service Electrical/PLC controls, including EPC, 2‑Touch, Basic and Plus control systems.
• Conduct audits, service‑agreement activities and generate detailed service reports.
• Train customer personnel on Alfa Laval equipment and AL system tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near‑miss app, Workday, Sensei IB).
• Support sales with technical solutions and participate in technical forums.
• Adhere to Alfa Laval QHSE policies, safety procedures and document all observations and recommendations.

Required skills

• Experience with high‑speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers.
• Proficiency in Electrical/PLC control systems (EPC, 2‑Touch, Basic & Plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑diagnosis abilities.
• Familiarity with Alfa Laval service tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near‑miss app, Workday, Sensei IB).
