Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial operations of the Agri Business divisions, ensuring accurate reporting, robust budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role provides strategic financial insights to senior leadership and drives initiatives that support sustainable growth and financial stability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Analyse financial performance, highlight trends, variances and risks, and present actionable insights to senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, including scenario analysis and financial modeling.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (Zakat, VAT, WHT), oversee tax planning and coordinate with external advisors.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships and treasury operations to optimise liquidity.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOPs and governance frameworks, and drive process improvements.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes and maintain audit readiness.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, allocate responsibilities and promote a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA is highly preferred.
• 12+ years of finance experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in the agri‑business, manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning, reporting and treasury functions.
