Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the company’s financial operations, ensuring robust planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management and regulatory compliance. This senior position requires deep experience in contracting and project‑based environments, particularly within construction or engineering firms.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and financial plans.
• Track project costs, profitability, revenue, expenses and overall financial performance.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial controls and the general ledger.
• Maintain banking relationships, financing facilities and working‑capital management.
• Produce monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA, VAT, tax and Saudi financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks and government authorities.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant financial experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Strong background in contracting, construction, engineering or other project‑based companies.
• In‑depth knowledge of budgeting, cash‑flow, project costing, financial reporting and cost control.
• Good understanding of Saudi financial regulations, VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Proven leadership, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, SOCPA, ACCA) preferred.
