Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at Holiday Inn Riyadh. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain accounting records and support the hotel’s financial operations in line with IHG standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger transactions.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies and local statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and internal controls.
• Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and General Ledger accounting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
