Financial Reporting & Tax Specialist

About the role

The Financial Reporting & Tax Specialist will be responsible for preparing and analysing the company’s financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role supports senior management with accurate reporting and contributes to the financial integrity of the airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and present them to senior management.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of financial information.
• Research, analyse and interpret tax regulations affecting the company’s obligations.
• Submit all required tax filings and returns on time and accurately.
• Follow up on tax assessments, audits and inquiries.
• Prepare annual Zakat returns ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain compliance with tax laws, financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to adhere to financial policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal audit processes and provide reports on findings.
• Propose improvements to financial and tax processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor updates in accounting standards, tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience as a Senior Financial & Tax Specialist or 1‑4 years as a Financial & Tax Specialist.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
