Gen AI Data Scientist – Machine Learning & IoT

About the role

We are looking for a Gen AI Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience to develop and deploy advanced machine learning and deep learning models for time-series forecasting, natural language processing and sensor/IoT data analysis in Dhahran.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train and fine-tune state-of-the-art models, including large language models, using frameworks such as HuggingFace and techniques like LoRA, Q-LoRA and full model fine-tuning.
• Implement and evaluate bagging and boosting algorithms (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) for structured and sensor data.
• Develop neural network architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, attention-based models) with PyTorch.
• Build and assess model performance using appropriate metrics and validation strategies.
• Work with smart sensor and IoT data to extract features and create predictive models for anomaly detection, failure prediction and optimisation.
• Expose model inference through REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to containerise models with Docker, set up CI/CD pipelines and deploy on cloud platforms.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, feature engineering processes and production model monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning or related fields.
• Strong background in time-series forecasting, NLP and IoT sensor analytics.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready models quickly.
• Immediate availability or able to start within 15 days.
