GenAI Solutions Architect – Chinese Speaker

About the role

BytePlus, the technology arm of ByteDance, is looking for a GenAI Solutions Architect who can bridge cutting‑edge generative AI capabilities with enterprise customers across the Middle East and Africa. This role combines pre‑sales engineering, solution design, and post‑implementation support while requiring fluency in Chinese to engage with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales teams to qualify leads, uncover client pain points, and design technical solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Lead end‑to‑end enterprise engagements—from demos and RFI/RFP responses to architecture workshops, proof‑of‑concept delivery, and implementation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to product teams, translating customer feedback into clear feature requests and influencing the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product engineering to close product‑market‑fit gaps and steer iterative development.
• Provide post‑sales support, ensuring solution stability and identifying upsell or cross‑sell opportunities with account executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with strong business acumen.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing, AI/ML, or related technology domains.
• Proven experience working across the MEA region and navigating fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environments.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills, evidenced through past technical projects.
• Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) for effective communication with Chinese‑speaking clients and partners.
