About the role
The General Accountant will perform a range of financial activities, including preparing statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the Finance Manager and Controller in delivering timely financial information for decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and post journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and assist with budget forecasts.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Handle invoicing, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
