General Ledger (GL) Analyst

About the role

The General Ledger Analyst will ensure the integrity of the company’s general ledger, supporting month‑end closing, financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulations. Working closely with the Finance team, you will record journal entries, reconcile accounts and provide accurate data for management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
• Perform balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure proper period posting.
• Analyze financial variances, investigate discrepancies and prepare management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial schedules.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other finance functions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and KSA regulations.
• Provide documentation for audits and support external/internal audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑4 years of GL accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Sun Systems.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
