General Manager – 5‑Star Luxury Hotel (Al Khobar)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a new 5‑star luxury hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, from pre‑opening through full operations. Reporting directly to ownership, the GM will have full P&L responsibility and will be responsible for delivering the brand’s luxury standards while adapting to the Kingdom’s market and cultural context.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all pre‑opening activities, including FF&E procurement, SOP development, recruitment, brand alignment and operational readiness.
• Build and inspire a high‑performing leadership team across all hotel departments.
• Own financial performance: budgeting, forecasting, cost control and revenue strategy.
• Drive commercial results for rooms, food & beverage, events and ancillary revenue streams.
• Position the hotel as the premier luxury address in Al Khobar through strategic partnerships and exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, Saudization targets and Vision 2030 objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with ownership and key stakeholders, providing regular reporting and strategic updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years in luxury hospitality, with at least 5 years as a General Manager.
• Proven pre‑opening experience, having led at least one full hotel opening through its first year of operation.
• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership.
• Experience managing large, multicultural teams.
• Familiarity with GCC/Middle‑East markets, especially Saudi Arabia, and knowledge of Saudization and Vision 2030.
