General Manager – Growth & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑driven company builder to take on the role of General Manager – Growth & Operations. Reporting directly to the founders and Board, you will steer the next phase of growth by identifying new markets, launching commercial initiatives and strengthening the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new revenue streams, markets, services, partnerships and customer segments.
• Originate opportunities, lead proposals, tenders, pricing, negotiations and close contracts.
• Build and expand the company’s business development and commercial capabilities.
• Assess current structure, processes and talent; recruit, develop or restructure teams as needed.
• Define clear responsibilities, KPIs and decision‑making authority to reduce founder dependency.
• Collaborate with founders and Board to shape growth strategy across mobility, fleet management, technology services and related businesses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in startups, SMEs or founder‑led companies, with a track record of creating and winning business.
• Background in sales, business development, partnerships or commercial leadership that has expanded into broader company leadership.
• Hands‑on mindset capable of building, selling, negotiating and executing initiatives.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, unstructured environment rather than large, highly‑structured organisations.
