General Manager (Remote)

About the role

AMLAD is seeking a full‑time remote General Manager to lead daily operations and drive sustainable growth. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, ensure compliance, and nurture a high‑performing, inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational activities and ensure business objectives are met efficiently.
• Lead cross‑functional, remote teams, set performance targets and monitor key metrics.
• Develop and implement business strategies, optimise processes and manage budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on long‑term planning and manage vendor/partner relationships.
• Support change‑management initiatives, report on performance, and identify risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in general management, operations leadership or business administration.
• Strong strategic planning, business development and financial management skills.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams with a coaching mindset.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Comfort with digital collaboration, reporting and project‑management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and champion diversity and inclusion.
