About the role
General Practitioner responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients in a home‑care setting, adhering to evidence‑based medicine, professional ethics and Saudi health regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct history taking, physical examinations and interpret common diagnostic tests for admissions and outpatient visits.
- Perform bedside procedures such as bone‑marrow aspiration, lumbar puncture and other cavity aspirations after senior staff consultation.
- Participate in daily ward rounds, on‑call rotations, morning reports and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Document patient plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and educate patients and families about care.
Required profile
- Medical degree (M.B., B.S.) recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- Minimum two years of post‑graduation experience in internal medicine or related field.
- Current valid Saudi medical license.
Required skills
- History taking and physical examination.
- Interpretation of diagnostic tests.
- Performing bone‑marrow aspiration and lumbar puncture.
- Patient and family education.
