General Practitioner – Home Care

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver high‑quality, compassionate medical care to patients in a home‑care setting, adhering to evidence‑based practice, professional ethics and Saudi health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient history taking, physical examinations and interpret basic diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement management plans, document care and follow‑up in patient charts.
• Perform daily ward rounds, on‑call rotations and coordinate with senior consultants.
• Carry out required procedures such as bone‑marrow aspiration, lumbar puncture and other bedside interventions after senior staff consultation.
• Participate in outpatient services (OPD, ER) and specialized units (ICU, CCU, Hemodialysis) under supervision.
• Educate patients and families, providing health promotion tailored to cultural and linguistic needs.

Required profile

• University medical degree (M.B., B.S.) recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Minimum two years of post‑graduate experience in medicine.
• Current, valid Saudi medical license.

Required skills

• Patient education and health promotion.
• Knowledge of CBAHI and JCIA accreditation standards.
• Evidence‑based medicine practice.
• Understanding of Saudi Ministry of Health laws and hospital by‑laws.
