Head of Sales – Diesel Generators

About the role

We are looking for a senior sales leader to head our diesel generator business in Saudi Arabia. The role will drive revenue growth, expand market presence and manage a high‑performing sales and service team across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead the sales and service team, focusing on business development in Oil & Gas, Construction, Industrial, Infrastructure, Data Centers, Rental and Government sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors and EPC firms.
• Oversee major projects, tenders, negotiations and key account management.
• Provide technical guidance on power solutions and ensure alignment with engineering, service and operations teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in diesel generator or power generation sales.
• Proven track record in sales management and team leadership.
• Strong commercial and technical knowledge of generator systems.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabia/GCC market is preferred.
• Valid Saudi driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Generator sizing and synchronization.
• Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems.
• Power solutions design and implementation.
• Technical expertise with brands such as Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson, Mitsubishi, MTU, Volvo Penta, Kohler and AKSA.
