About the role

The In‑Room Dining Manager oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s room service department. This entry‑level management position is responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests, training staff, and maintaining budgetary controls while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day‑to‑day room service activities, including staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Train, coach, and assist employees to follow service standards and hotel policies.
• Monitor compliance with room service policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
• Communicate operational needs and performance expectations to the team and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist other food‑and‑beverage outlets as needed to support overall department performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage or culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and a customer‑focused attitude.
