Installation Technician, Summer

About the role

Join a leading smart‑home provider for a seasonal, full‑time position that runs through the summer. You will travel to customer homes, install and service cutting‑edge smart‑home devices, and ensure a safe, connected living environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart‑home technology in residential settings.
• Manage inventory, track assets, and maintain equipment logs.
• Explain system capabilities and operation to customers.
• Identify upsell opportunities and convert service appointments into additional sales.
• Perform routine maintenance, including ladder work and attic access.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively.
• Pass a background check, motor‑vehicle record check, and drug screening.
• Reside within 20 miles of the assigned city.
