Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Albawani is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the execution of its annual internal audit plan. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you will oversee a team of auditors, ensure audit quality, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the assigned portion of the annual audit plan on schedule and within budget.
• Approve, review, and monitor all audit programs and engagements.
• Track audit cycle time, budget vs. actual, and ensure compliance with attendance and working‑hour policies.
• Implement ARC decisions, report monthly on status, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Conduct regular quality‑assurance reviews of supervised audits.
• Collect stakeholder feedback and maintain a minimum satisfaction score of 75%.
• Fulfill annual professional education requirements (40 CPE hours) and lead at least two knowledge‑sharing sessions per year.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of audit experience, preferably in construction or project‑based industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, CPA/SOCPA, or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
• Proficiency in audit methodologies and standards.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP and Oracle.
