IT Project Manager

About the role

2P is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT application projects that align with business objectives. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle while collaborating with business stakeholders, application teams, vendors, and technical departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT application projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate activities across business, development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.
• Monitor progress, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, changes, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate requirement‑gathering sessions and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
• Oversee application testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and handover activities.
• Manage third‑party vendors and contractual deliverables.
• Support change management, user readiness, and post‑implementation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering IT application projects.
• Proven hands‑on experience coordinating cross‑functional technical and business teams.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and application implementation processes.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or equivalent.
