Junior Accountant

About the role

Saint-Gobain is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to work on daily accounting tasks while supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities in a global, sustainability‑focused company.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general‑ledger accounts.
• Monitor outstanding payments and invoices.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain employee expense records and reimbursement documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support tax, VAT, and statutory compliance activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus.
