Junior Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join our Commercial team. In this entry‑level position you will support senior buyers and category managers in sourcing high‑quality merchandise, managing stock levels and contributing to the overall sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist buyers and category managers with product and supplier selection.
• Purchase merchandise at competitive prices while ensuring quality standards.
• Plan, forecast and report on sales and business performance.
• Monitor profitability, stock levels and stock turns, and help manage excess or dormant inventory.
• Coordinate advertising and promotional activities with internal teams.
• Conduct market and supplier research to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
• Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• 0–2 years of experience in buying, procurement or a related function.
• Retail buying experience is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong communication, teamwork and results‑oriented attitude.
