About the role

The Jabal Omar Jumeirah Hotel in Makkah is seeking a Commis 3 to join its kitchen team. This position supports the preparation of a diverse culinary offering that includes Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisines.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat as applicable.
• Cut, season, and marinate different meats with proficient knowledge.
• Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with fine details and exquisite presentation.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides to exact specifications.
• Ensure food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors of low‑stock situations.
