Landscape Architect – Riyadh

About the role

Surbana Jurong is supporting a client on large‑scale residential and mixed‑use developments in Saudi Arabia. The company is looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to be based in the client’s office in Riyadh. The role involves landscape design review, project coordination and site‑supervision activities in a client‑facing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review landscape design from concept through detailed design to construction stages.
• Check consultants’ submissions for compliance with client standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, urban designers and other disciplines.
• Provide technical support during site supervision, including shop drawings, material selection and responding to site queries.
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops and commercial scope reviews linked to landscape design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in landscape design and technical review.
• Experience on residential communities, villas, apartments, commercial, retail, schools, parks and public realms, preferably on large‑scale or master‑planned developments.
• Middle‑East experience, ideally in Saudi Arabia, is an advantage.
• Strong design judgment, clear communication and ability to work directly with clients.
