Lead IT System Analyst

About the role

The Lead IT System Analyst provides professional support across a range of IT programming, application, and operational tasks. This includes designing, documenting, and coding program logic, delivering technical training, and guiding end‑users and departmental staff. The role also supports planning, execution, and implementation of IT programs in line with organisational strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing applications while creating new routine applications to meet user requirements.
• Research, design, develop, and test operating‑system level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
• Document current and target architecture, formulate deployment plans, and maintain a development roadmap aligned with business needs.
• Perform technical analysis, design databases and data dictionaries, and recommend high‑level technical solutions.
• Coordinate staff for software installation, testing, upgrades, and vendor system conversions.
• Lead IT systems analyst projects, providing direction, coordination, and technical guidance.
• Develop user documentation, departmental policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system releases, generate logs and reports, and ensure compliance with internal KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system analysis and software development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate IT analyst teams.
• Strong communication skills for internal stakeholder engagement.
• Experience documenting architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Capability to manage project implementation and resolve technical issues.
