Local Purchaser – Construction Projects

About the role

The Local Purchaser will support construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia by sourcing, negotiating and acquiring the materials, tools and services needed for successful project delivery. The role focuses on managing the full procurement cycle, from issuing RFQs to ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, tools, and equipment in line with project specifications.
• Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate pricing and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships, monitoring performance and compliance.
• Conduct market research to identify cost‑saving opportunities and stay informed on market trends.
• Coordinate with engineering, site, planning and warehouse teams to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Track orders, resolve delivery issues and arrange logistics when required.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure adherence to internal policies and standards.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality.
• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management and market analysis within the EPC or construction industry.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, site, planning and warehouse.
