Logistics Supervisor – Transportation & Export

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead transportation and export operations in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring timely, cost-effective and compliant movement of goods both domestically and across borders, while supporting the company’s purpose of sustainable living.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily outbound transportation activities and monitor transportation costs.
• Oversee a team of logistics professionals, track their KPIs and ensure performance targets are met.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and 3PL partners to guarantee on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Monitor fleet performance, resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Handle export documentation, customs clearance and adherence to Incoterms.
• Maintain communication with internal stakeholders (warehouse, finance, customer service) and external partners.
• Troubleshoot SAP system issues and liaise with IT to prevent delays.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce transportation costs and improve lead times.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of experience in logistics, transportation or export management.
• Proven ability to lead a logistics team and manage performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and international shipping processes.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders.
