Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee all maintenance activities for Al‑Rashed Group’s truck fleet, ensuring timely repairs and optimal vehicle availability. Acting as the central communication hub between drivers, operations, and workshop technicians, you will keep the fleet running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log maintenance requests and breakdown reports from drivers and operations teams.
• Coordinate the movement of trucks to and from workshops, guaranteeing safe and efficient handling.
• Monitor repair progress, follow up with technicians and external workshops, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Manage spare‑part requests, approvals, and inventory availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service histories, and repair reports.
• Provide real‑time status updates to the operations team.
• Prepare regular maintenance performance reports, cost summaries, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance plans and company procedures.
• Support the planning and execution of preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and coordination abilities with a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good understanding of truck maintenance terminology and basic mechanical concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail in record‑keeping and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with drivers, technicians, and operations personnel.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate maintenance reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with the broader MS Office suite and reporting tools.
